Need help getting your blog listed in the search engines? Is your blog cached in Google? Does your blog have no PageRank value? All of these maladies can be remedied by building links to your blog. One of the simplest ways to link build is to submit to directories. While there are many out there here are some that are worth your time to submit to. Please comment on additional directories if you have any.

We need to apologize to all the bloggers who have been patiently waiting for their blogs to be approved. We are a little behind due to the overwhelming number of blogs being submitted for approval. The success of BloggingAds has been wonderful and quick growth often results in growing pains. We are placing more efforts toward approving blogs, but our standards have also increased.

Please bear with us as we play catch up and keep these tips in mind when submitting your blog.

• The higher the PR value of your blog the better your chance to be approved. If you have no PR, try waiting until Google updates the PR of your blog and submit then.
• The higher your PR then quicker you will be approved. We look at blogs with higher PR sooner than those blogs with low or no PR value.
• Read our guidelines when you submit your blog. We only take English blogs and we don’t usually accept blogs that are 95% ads.
• Take pride in your blogs appearance. The number of spammy blogs we receive is huge and we try not to accept any of them. Your blog should invite readers, not make them cringe and leave.
• “Well so and so accepted my blog.” We hear this all the time after rejecting a submitted blog. We don’t accept blogs just because another service has. Every company has different standards so not everyone will accept the same blog. We manually review every blog submitted, so if your blog appeals to us and we like the content and we can see you are making a real effort, you have a good chance a being approved. Blogs for the pure sake of advertising need to have a high PR to make it into our system.

We have these standards because our advertisers are concerned about being on the best blogs they can be. Don’t be offended or take a rejection personally. You can always submit again after your PR has risen or you have made changes.
